Pre-Order Update: December 2025
by My Store AdminThis update, directly from founder, Jean Simonet, has been adapted from the communication shared with our Kickstarter Backers and contains transparent, detailed information about Pixels production. Some details may have been adjusted to focus on Pre-order info vs Backer Rewards. These updates are published at the end of each month and will continue to be re-published on the Pixels Blog with information relevant to Pre-order customers.
Hello backers!
A very short update this December, as there aren't any particularly new development to report since last month.
Shipping Updates
For our US backers, there has been no development on the tariffs' front, so we are still holding tight. As a reminder, we're hoping the supreme court will pronounce itself on the tariffs before spring. The rest of the world should see shipments soon as we are still tracking with my earlier estimates. We will let you know when shipments are going out.
Colorway Swaps
As I mentioned in the November update, we will be swapping some colorways because the Onyx Black and Hematite Grey have just given us too much trouble, and we don't have enough.
However, I need to clarify that if you have previously contacted support about replacing an Onyx Black or Hematite Grey die, you will be taken care of; replacements go to the top of the list.
Again, I apologize for not being able to give everyone the option to select exactly what alternate colorway they would prefer. It is purely an issue of lacking manpower, either the manpower to implement new website features, or manpower to handle all the support requests.
Large Charging Cases
Last month I shared the new "Hex" Charging Case that we are now using for sets. I want to clarify that if you are one of the few backers who received sets with a Large Charging Case and are having issues, we will take care of you, don't worry.
There is still a firmware bug that I need to fix (sorry), but even after I do, if you want to switch to the Hex Charging case, we will make that happen. Usual tariffs delay caveat for US backers applies, unfortunately.
Support Tickets
We got a flood of emails after last month's update, understandably, so please excuse our delay in responding. We are processing tickets as quickly as possible, and you should absolutely continue to contact luna@gamewithpixels.com for any issue. We are doing our best to catch back up.
Thank you once again for your patience,
Jean
