Pre-Order Update: March 2026

Pre-Order Update: March 2026

This update, directly from founder, Jean Simonet, has been adapted from the communication shared with our Kickstarter Backers and contains transparent, detailed information about Pixels production. Some details may have been adjusted to focus on Pre-order info vs Backer Rewards. These updates are published at the end of each month and will continue to be re-published on the Pixels Blog with information relevant to Pre-order customers.

Hello backers,
This month’s update is another short one, but I want it to be a clear one.

Non-U.S. backers

Let me start by sharing the good news that an additional 3000 shipments have gone out this month. If you have already received a shipping notice, your order is in motion. If you have not yet received one, that does not mean your order has been lost. There are still another few hundred fulfillments left to go out.

In fact, if you are just about to get your dice, I am happy to let you know that we have updated the onboarding page.

Look forward to more tutorials and guides being added soon.

U.S. backers

Unfortunately, there is still no meaningful change to report on the U.S. tariff front, so U.S. set fulfillment remains on hold. I know that is not what you want to hear. I also know you just want a straight answer, so let me use this update to restate a few important facts as plainly as I can.

A note on the D20s at Amazon

Because this continues to come up, I want to reiterate details provided in updates #74, #75, and #76. The D20s at the Amazon warehouse are from a separate batch of dice, imported before the current tariff situation took effect. They are not new imports, and more importantly, they are not the same items that the majority of US backers are still waiting on, i.e. fulls sets or opaque colorway D20s.

Some backers who are waiting on both single D20s and full sets also see those few dice for sale and expect that they should at least be receiving their singles right now and sets later. As explained earlier in the fulfillment process, we are holding rewards until all items in that order are ready, unless split shipping was selected or separately covered.

U.S. vs The world...

While the U.S. tariff situation remains on hold, I am not standing still. I am still working hard to keep fulfillment moving, keep operations alive, and keep working toward finishing the remaining U.S. backlog instead of freezing everything in place.

Selling the amazon stock is in fact helping cover the operating costs required to keep support, warehousing, replacements, and fulfillment moving.

It still kind of sucks, I agree. Again, all I can do at this point is keep sharing the facts, keep documenting what is happening, and keep doing everything in my power to make good on the remaining fulfillment.

I am hopeful that being able (very soon) to sell Pixels in other markets will translate into the ability to offer free split shipping to some US backers and at least send singles from the Amazon stock, but we'll have to see.

Until then, please continue to use support@gamewithpixels.com or luna@gamewithpixels.com for your issues (both emails end up in the same place). Do include your "order" number when you write in as that makes our lives easier.

Until the next update,
Jean
