I waited over 5 years for these after funding the kickstarter. I am so happy they took the time to make a quality product instead of cutting corners.
So cool and pretty! I was one of the original Kickstarter funders and stayed patient as Game With Pixels dealt with years of production issues and challenges. But they always kept up clear communication. The finished product looks and feels great, from the dice itself to the packaging, manual, and the app. Congratulations on finally getting this cool gadget to the market! 🙌🏻🎉
The electronic d20 has been just about everything I'd hoped it would be and I've used it in every D&D session since I received it. The only thing more I can think to ask for is the ability to set the color of individual faces on rolls.
Absolutely gorgeous! The packaging is so beautiful I have the box displayed, too.
Bought as gifts for my DnD party and they won't stop using them! Will hopefully order more in the future.
First, the quality is evident. The dice are beautiful to look at, hold, and roll, not to mention the LEDs and innovative technology.
Diving deeper into the tech, these dice enable developers and users to play games in ways we couldn't before. From the ability to roll physical dice that also emulate that roll on VTTs to custom dice games via apps on your phone or tablet, the sky is the limit with these dice!
I plan to get many more of these and make them a core part of my dice collection, as they're so versatile. The colorways are beautiful, and the creators are some of the kindest and most welcoming people I've interacted with.
Please do yourself a favor and pick up a D20, at the very least, and try them. They're amazing.
I had the original light up d20 from ThinkGeek back in the day; and I’ve seen the other light up sets and I get it. If you want dice that are also lights, sure du one of those.
But if you want fully programmable, customizable dice that will sync with your favorite VTT, will talk to you (through your phone) as a hearing aid, and will track your stats across multiple sessions; this is what you want. To say it’s a light up d20 is to say that an aircraft carrier is a boat or an internet capable smartphone is something you use to call people. This is the Cadillac of light up d20s and I love mine
This is the best die I’ve ever had. The colors are bright, the charge lasts a long time, the numbers are easy to read, and it’s just fun to play with.
Fun, interactive, unique - fantastic upgrade to standard dice. Next level fun to roll, a pleasure to program, and quite a head turner. The only thing I have found as a slight inconvenience is that of the four dice I have, two of them run out of charge quite fast compared to the others.
It works great.
The Bluetooth works on my phone, and the added attachment to DnD Beyond.
